Throw Your Clubs To Increase Golf Swing Speed And Consistency. More distance and freedom golf swing without thinking about Golf swing positions with Shawn Clement http://www.theartofsimplegolf.com/free

This way of seeing things that our Friend Shawn Clement shares for your golf swing will transform how you go about trying to increase golf swing speed and get more distance with the driver especially.

The way to do it is to think of the golf club more as a grass cutting tool. See the action of the club to cut the grass and to see the golf swing more like a momentum and circular action with effortless velocity and release.

A golf club is just a tool. Like a sword to cut through bamboo and actually throwing the golf club to specific targets will surprise you just how much it will give you the sensation of freedom, speed, and the perfect golf swing when you let your brain focus on the target and your body to freely execute the action to the target.

If you don't have the ability to throw golf clubs you can get close to the feeling by holding on but throwing to a target without letting go. The other drills in the video like the ball on the string will blow your golfing mind too.

So put these golf swing principles into action and increase your swing speed and distances easily. Then we think about bracing against your target like a hunter would with a rifle.

You can have power in your golf swing and you can have consistency in your golf swing too. But too many golfers spend their time on golf technique that is forced and against your natural mechanics and rhythm.

Manjunath B S says:

Fantastic. Helps get connected with entire structure of swing.

April C says:

7 years already went by when I started playing and all those years were full of practices and lessons. Learning these golf swing strategies , Jοmtοnο Naha (Go ogle it) allowed me to taken a seventy-five after a couple of buckets. I managed to become more acquainted with numerous golf concepts like grip, ball position as well as through swing drills. My past handicap is 13, but now I am beginning to lower it. This tutorial is a plus!

Ghost5.7 says:

This is easy to do until there's a golf ball in the way

MrUmandMrEr says:

Hey Shawn, I'm not sure you've got the concept of golf here. You need a ball.

Nate Richardson says:

Nobody on tour swings a golf club like this. Looks fundimently like it's off. In my opinion. Thanks for the video.

bitario723 says:

Sorry. This doesn't work to increase clubhead speed or hit a golf ball properly. When you actually throw a club, you release it much later than when you would release it to hit a golf ball. Also, you narrow your swing width this way, and actually decrease club head speed. You may have good intentions, but you are going to waste a lot of people's time with this. Mike Austin has it right.

Planetary Setters Plus says:

This is also a way to continue playing once you hit all your balls into the water, they should make the golf club throw an Olympic sport! 🤣

Planetary Setters Plus says:

Woohoo, we now know how to throw golf clubs 😂

Steve Alino says:

Excellent drill & Instruction, thank you.

Ian Booth says:

The first (and last) time I tried this I threw one of my beautiful Mizunos into a dam. It was recovered, luckily. You need a club-shagger, btw 😁

brendan schiel says:

I just got back from hitting a medium bucket and WOW! This really works. I struggle with hitting thin shots but I don’t think I hit a single thin shot! The distance I was getting was a huge plus! Thanks!

chebrneck says:

I want to throw my clubs all the time.

vimal Mittal says:

It means i have to extend my arms after impact?

Stanley13 says:

I am playing this weekend… i am going to throw my clubs all over the course.

stenzy says:

I remember my former swing coach having me do this but instead of throwing it out in front, I threw it into a shag bag that was relatively in the same place the ball would be. It was insane how good the results were, results were almost immediate. Powerful drill

Eddie ZmanBB says:

Shawn, you should give credit to Fred Shoemaker’s “Extraordinary Golf-Art of the Possible” 1997 book for the idea of throwing the club exercise.

Robert Daugherty says:

I like this for distances.

Dave says:

Thanks Shawn. I needed to reply this way for some reason this iPad when i hit reply does nothing. I just tried that move and need to work on it. I keep reading loose swings loose hinge loose legs and yet when i try that my swing speed devices give me lower readings. I am going to ASSune that its my problem as the advice seems very good and the advisors are way better players than me. keep up the good work

Dave says:

So it looks like as you go down your legs are bent then as you’re close to releasing your legs abruptly sort of straighten . It looks like the legs going up and down are a big part of what creates speed ?

Robert Edwards says:

WTF did I just watch

Randy Smith says:

Very well explained and particularly appreciated viewing the swing, then immediately getting the distance.

Choco says:

Concepts only dont work its all about pinpoint tech ground reaction transmission forces and geometry

roger king says:

Think this is a great concept .Seems to take all the swing killing thoughts out of the deal.

B says:

LOL Thanks Shawn have to look for those slippery grips! 🙂
