  1. Hi Adam, another great video. Any thoughts on what drills or types of shots we should practice in our backyard nets during this quarantine so we don’t groove a bad swing?

  2. Adam, I used to be halfway decent at this game, probably an 18.
I've recently got to a place where I can hardly hit a decent golf shot.
I'm very athletic and can adapt to different swing philosophies but I'm convinced I'm doing something wrong with my hands. Doing the flamingo helps for a couple shots but then it's gone.
Please tell me what exactly are my hands supposed to do at impact.
    Thanks so much,
    Gary

  3. Greetings Again Adam and thanks for your fine videos. I am an Authorized Instructor for the Golfing and I am working on my Masters paper which will deal with the illusions in golf and their paradoxes. Example : the club never goes straight yet always goes straight. Think angular motion and a flat plane. I do appreciate your good work and your production quality is excellent. Cheers FJN

  4. I recently discovered the “Faldo preset drill” which I find is a good way to get into the right position. This seems to be another way to get into the right spot.

  5. I recently began implementing a simple 3 part pre-shot routine. Immediately after the 5 second routine, I step up, rehearse a short takeaway, return to address and immediately begin the full swing. I DO NOT dwell over the ball thinking about what shot mechanics I want to apply/avoid. This process seemingly moves the action of the swing from my analytical brain to my more intuitive side. It is a variation of the think box/play box approach developed by Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott. This pre-shot routine quiets the thinking process and allows the shot to simply happen in a more organic way.

  6. It is amazing how muscle memory works. Think about how many times you open your office door with a key and just hit that little slot every time or your car key.

  7. I get this effortless power to getting the distance. However I just cannot do it consistently. I usually carry the ball 220-230, but when I'm in rythym I can carry 260.

Again.. just cannot do it consistently.. I'm naturally wanting to crush it..

  8. Thanks Adam. This is what I have been working on for a couple of months now. My backswing was much shorter. I do find that, in my practice shot, my backswing goes all the way up. But when do hit, it is shorter. How to correct?
