Nice review. Hippo are worth a look too. KBS shafts in a choice of length for £175. No one seems to be reviewing these James. Any idea why?

I bought these irons a few months ago when I was in the market for a new set. It was between these and the Callaway Steelhead XR irons. The top line on the Callaways was a bit chunky for me, so I went with the Benross. They are great game improvement irons for mid handicappers, I went from being in the low twenties to a 13.9 which is what I'm at now. Benross deserve more exposure in my opinion, affordable well made irons. Oh I wen't out and bought Benross wedges and a Hybrid I was so impressed!
I just bought a set of Tour Edge Hot Launch C522 irons for $455. I guess that indicates what I think of more inexpensive irons. You should test them.
So it appears that Ben Ross is not available in the U.S.? That being said, I like a forgiving iron, and I like a decent amount of offset, but I hate thick, wide soles as I have a hard time getting them through the turf; any suggestions (besides lessons or taking up another sport)?
Benross definitely make good, inexpensive golf clubs.

I may have missed it but would love to see James test some Sub70 (699 and 799) irons. Just got some fitted, cracking price and lovely in my opinion
The Takomo 101 irons are also under 500 pounds and are quality
I love my Benross Delta irons . Had them fitted a year ago haven't regretted it

James, I'm a big benross fan. These are for the higher handicapper as you've said, so cannot be judged against any of the big names. I'm off 18, and play the hot speed 2 irons and love them. Love the content.. keep it coming pal…
