This golf drivers comparison features a unique trio of drivers: PING G425 Max, TaylorMade Stealth, and Mizuno ST-X, which is the gamer for 2nd Swing's Skylar Kistler.

In this video, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald and Skylar Kistler conduct a golf drivers comparison featuring the PING G425 Max, TaylorMade Stealth, and Mizuno ST-X drivers. In the test, Skylar ultimately is comparing her gamer setup (Mizuno ST-X) to a couple of models that she has seen perform really well in 2022.

  1. Agree with some comments below not sure why you deoptimized her driver instead of just matching the other two to similar set up.

    Love the channel and information

  2. Good to see someone else hit their club vs others. Clearly given her preferences and desires she is on the right track for determining what suits her and whether to consider alternatives or not. In my case cannot stand the sound and looks of the ping. Don’t need draw bias as that exaggerates my pull if anything. I myself since m2 had not previously found a driver I really liked and performed well till now and am now in the stealth and loving it. That being said as a leftie I did not get a chance to try the ltdx (though don’t like the looks of it) nor the roque st which might have been an option given my epic 3 fairway and super hybrid. But no regrets. Stealth is great and look forward to when tm brings out the fairway and even hybrids in carbon wood.

  3. This is one of the worst videos ive seen 2ndSwing release in the last year…apples to oranges without any sense or direction. Feels like someone turned on the camera and said "we need more content". Very disappointing. Generally videos without Thomas (or Larry for that matter) seem to lack substance a lot

  4. Yet another review where there’s talk of Stealth delivering more ball speed, but it seems to come purely through faster club head speed, and the smash factor is actually lower. When is someone going to address the elephant in the room: that TM’s carbon face isn’t actually as hot as titanium!!

  5. Please share the total club lengths. I know mizuno mens drivers are stock 0.5 to 0.75" shorter at 45". So those ball speed numberd are not the true picture.
Also I keep repeating that the last club to be swung usually has the best results. Would have loved to see Skylar hit her mizuno again at the end.
From my own experience w the stealth on foresight, spin is very inconsistent. Possibly something about the urethane face texture. Its not flat, no way that doesnt have some effect on consistency.
Also the face height of stealth might be different from the other drivers while tee height remains. Steath is taller than sim2.
Keep em coming, i'll keep watching

  6. So you changed her Mizuno back to closer to stock, but put the weight from the G425 in the heel. I don't know why I even give these videos a chance anymore. Either fit all 3, or leave all 3 fully stock/ neutral.

  7. It's an unfair test to test her with the driver she's been fitted for against 2 stock drivers. Fit her for the other 2 and then have a comparison test to make it completely fair.
