It's not always clubhead speed during your putting stroke that causes you to come up short of the hole. If you have a low putting SMASH FACTOR, change your stroke to make more putts.

I just saw a Lee Trevino putting video, and he said to putt down (not up), because you'll hit the ball solid ("hear the sound the ball makes…").
I'm not buying it: Stroking 'in to out' just adds another variable to your putting stroke. Putt ' in to square to in' gives you a consistent stroke…all you have to do is make sure your 'square' point is on your chosen line. Even 'square to square' seems better to me. If you hit your line, then weight is the only thing that matters, assuming you have picked the correct line, imo….
