This ultimate draw bias driver comparison of 2022 tests the most draw bias drivers of 2022 from the 2nd Swing fitting bays. Each of these golf drivers is designed to fight a slice by promoting a draw through added heel weighting.

In this video, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald and Thomas Campbell test eight forgiving drivers, including the PING G425 SFT, TaylorMade Stealth HD, Callaway Rogue ST Max D, Cobra LTDx Max, and Mizuno ST-X 220.

I am no professional here, but appears the faster you swing, the more spin generated. Would it not be a more accurate test to have a higher handicapper with slower swing speed to get a fairer outcome. Not mention “Thomas” hits a draw to begin with. I fight the slice and try, but can’t hit a draw.
I can’t trust this test, please convince me otherwise.

Get some slow swingers 90 mph and less on the show

I do think that heel weighting can have varying effects on people when it comes to face closure. It helps some people more than others. But getting that CG location closer to the heel is very helpful for the slicers who strike it on the heel, because it should increase ball speed and decrease that slice spin. I have the G425 Max in the draw setting and my heel strikes react much differently than they used to. I think the G425 Max would be right up there with a lot of these as far as slice correction goes.

@jeremyhill3837 says:

Just curious. What % of the main brand driver market is draw bias? What % sales split is the Ping G425 Max versus the SFT version for example?

@marioalvarado3082 says:

Really Guys, I think the percentage of call for Zahid the ball to the right is close to 90% of the week and hackers. Why would you get Thomas fine? Do you have his numbers as a base but you got to get your weekend hacker which is a slicer

Time to move product

@rafabonati7757 says:

Definitely NOT a driver in this group for me. I don’t slice, but watched your video anyway. Happy New Year.

@mikeb3835 says:

One nice thing about the LTD, is that the weights can be switched to a more neutral setting if you ever overcome your slice.

@lkae4 says:

Ping is the most forgiving for slicers, Callaway Rogue is one of the best driver lines today. Shout out to the Tour Edge for the offset. That can be a tremendous help for many.

@eliolepri4831 says:

These Drivers are more built for swingspeeds beyond 90 mph

@josephinecampbell3196 says:

You need a tester that fades the ball. Someone that has a draw to begin with is not the person to use.

@thomasgodfrey758 says:

My STX220 came with a 20 gram back weight. I’m curious how that might have any impact here? I personally don’t notice much in the way of a draw as I am very consistent in my ball flight and rarely have a slice unless it’s just a horrific swing.

Nice to see the STX right at the top for yardage and tight dispersion.

Still cracks me up the lack of respect it gets even when the facts are right there

keep the videos comin fellas
