I believe Cobra actually invented the hybrid. Taylormade chose to name
theirs as a rescue. I am still happy with my Adams Super XTD 17 degree
hybrid. It gaps very well between my 14 degree Tight Lies fairway and my 22
degree AP2 4 iron.
