Thank you for saving me 2000 dolllars.
I see golfer's on the course carrying ping eye2 and ping zing irons! No problems! Cheer's
Thanks for the clear answer. Now I'll have to come up with a different excuse to buy new clubs haha
Any advice? I've managed to play golf with some pretty old stuff. (Chromed blades that are rusting) been hunting around at garage sales and upgraded to "modern" clubs so got a set of 7 clubs (odd# and all different brands) any reason for me to get a beginner set like a "strata" set of 12?
Does this douche always have to be hitting a ball when he talks.?
You most definitely can wear out irons. I have a range plan at my local club 5 minutes from where I work. Had a set of VR pro combos that I completely wore out (7-8 irons) . But I hit balls 5-6 days out of the week at lunch time for probably 4-5 years. Just recently I replaced them with a set of PING cast clubs hoping to get something that will hold up to those rock hard range balls. The groves on the Nike set was smashed all together and smooth, also they started angling up towards the sky. It happens if you play a set long enough.
Just saw a review and Vlog or grooveless that appear to work just fine, the idea being that the club-face is only in contact wit the ball for 5/10,000th of a second. Your thoughts, Mark?
Q&A. How close were you to making it tour pro? And what did you get down to?
I've got that spot you speak of on my 60* wedge.
If you have a little money to spend and want to refurb them, there are some companies that will do that. Just do a Google search…
