Golfer left visibly shocked after the most amazing golf lesson – CAUGHT ON CAMERA!

What makes the results of this Live Golf Lesson even more impressive is it came from a senior golfer. If you have ever wondered how to hit the golf ball straight and far you are in for a treat. Here's why you might struggle to strike your irons pure and make solid contact:

1. You have the hand & ball position in the wrong place
2. You don't have enough weight on your lead foot at set up – BIG ONE
3. You aren't creating a simple circle in the golf swing
4. You don't have control over the club face

What's great is if you have any one of these faults in your golf swing they are really easy to fix and can make an instant impact on the quality of your ball striking not just with your irons but with your driver too.

For example if you want to hit your driver straight just getting the forearms aligned at address will be a real eye opener for you and if you want to strike your irons perfect simply shifting the swing circle towards the target will instantly improve strike.

Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website ( I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Rob Ratcliff says:

Hey Danny, another excellent lesson. The axe image is really helpful. Just one point. I am 74 and have the same issues as your Dad. Should I set up with the ball futher back (I.e, back from centre) in my stance with mid irons to avoid hitting the ball fat?

TK Benge says:

Mr. Maude you explain the swing so well. I just wish I was able to come get a lesson but it's a long way to travel for me. Well done and I enjoy your channel very much.

Marty Sitler says:

Fantastic lesson, always learn a lot from you!! Thanks!

Lee Hout says:

Great drill glad pops saw the immediate increase. Gotta be a boost coming from a lesson from his son.

Chris Owen says:

I’ve just started watching your videos and you do them all in a really calm and clear way thank you

Louis FRERE says:

Very interesting. I’m just missing a point. How is weight distributed on your feet in initial posture ?

Baljit Dhanjal says:

Danny this is the best Christmas and new year present you given me. Bless you

Kathy Bailey says:

Great lesson. Simple concepts, easily understood. Thank you. Can you please tell me what brand of ball tray you use? I love how you relate the arc of the swing to the tray in your lessons.

Chris Lynch says:

Great lesson. Great explanation about the swing arc and where the power is located. Very helpful!

Gary Dorrington says:

Danny as discussed Im following your driver tuition through the winter yesterday I was hitting up to around 245 carry so im pleased with the way this is going, now here's my beef and this is something we all talk about when playing and I believe its the main reason we hit bad shots with our irons, club v ball position now imagine the ball dead centre I have an 7 or 8 iron should the grip be level at address slightly forward or as I see with a lot of my mates who top the ball behind, what is the correct set up the ideal position many of us move the ball further forward to create height because clubs have become stronger lofted,

Vic Soboleski says:

Love how dad would sneakily adjust his position when you weren’t looking (to make it possible / comfortable to hit ball) I don’t know if he even realized he was wiggling feet back after you set him forward/ ball back … you realizing he moved the re correcting his stance…

kim newling says:

Remarkable. I really like dad on these videos. Relatable. Please bring him back periodically. Hi dad!!

hermann erath says:

Thanks , great eye opener!

Kenneth RHODES says:

Great lesson!!

hakirk1 says:

Danny, I really enjoy your lessons with your dad. It reminds me so much of my game and I can’t wait to try and apply this to my swing. Being your dads age it is tough seeing your distances drop and needing stronger clubs for every shot. Thanks for this video.

ligerpride says:

This is a superb way of explaining this concept.

S W says:

The explanation of what goes on in a swing arc is really helpful. The axe example of where power comes from was too.

It’s impossible to improve without an understanding of what’s going on in a golf swing. You explain it all and break it down so simply. Very helpful for me.

Playing today and am anxious to apply these swing tips.

Howard Clark says:

You are a wizard with a trackman , you knew right what to do to fix. As for speed sweeping vs catapult is the key!

Alan Goudie says:

Excellent , very helpful video.
I will try & replicate what your father did & I hope I will achieve the similar improvement.
My swing direction is O K but I need the catapult to increase my speed.
Many thanks for all your help.
I only wish Danny could do something to stop the rain & my soaking wet golf course.
I will go to the range to see if I can discover your catapult.
Delighted to see your dad's pleasure with the rapid improvement.
Obviously Danny's ideas really work.
All the best for the New Year to Danny & his family.
Alan Goudie , aged 79 , with a slow swing speed.

William Muir says:

Great video Danny with your dad treasured memories

Andy Glavac says:

Another great video I am a 66 year old that has the same issues as your Dad I will try this today You are an amazing teacher and I love your energy

Colin Jones says:

Great video Danny. Happy New Year to you and your Dad.

Bill Coton says:

The results your dad got after a few minutes was great, but it looks to me like you are saying we should have the ball a lot further back in our stance, from the camera angle it looked like your dad had the ball in line with the big toe of his right foot. I've been told for years that with a 7 iron the ball should be just left of centre.

Richard Perry says:

I think, as we get older, some adjustments creep in due to physical restrictions. Our mind tries to compensate and all sorts of issues arise. What do you think, Danny?

Cblack says:

Ur my hero Danny. Ur vids help me so much. I would love for u to analyze my swing one day as I'm fairly new to golf n could definitely use some help lol
