  1. I struggle with my grip for 30 years I have Palm size 5 inches and fingers 3 1/2 total hand size 8 1/2 inches what would you recommend Ping is gold size grips. Love your tips play with standard size grips

  2. I agree with Barend, you always focus way too much on the "incorrect" techniques of golf, when you should actually be focusing on the "correct" techniques of golf. Not only does it save video time, it's also way more helpful for us beginners.

  3. right hand still looks to be too much on top of the club, turned over too far left. the crease between the thumb and first finger that makes the V is pointed to his chin

  4. I really struggle with a weak right hand grip, it feels super natural now and when I try to strengthen my right hand all of my shots buzz low and right

  5. interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about improve golf game try Nadazma Amazing Golf Helper (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.

  6. Wrong or very vague. Why Palm to Palm? Because the swing down to the ball is with the club face open. The swing plain in micro terminology for just the grip is target, ball, bottom of shaft, knuckles, palms, length of shaft, and open club face all in a straight line from the top of the swing to the vortex at the bottom of the swing.
Most golfers set up their grip for casting, or starting the swing with their hands at the top. This is the cause of ball slices. The grip is not for address but for the beginning of the swing at the top of the swing to keep on target as the golfer clears his hip. The palms should mirror or should be in the same position as the club face all the way to the bottom of the swing.
If you grip the ball for the strength of the grip is at address of the ball with the golfer thinking that is where the striking of the ball takes place so, that is where the strength of the grip should be is wrong. “The grip is for the top of the swing not the bottom” That is mine, my catch phrase so, write it down so you do not forget and think it is yours later on.

  7. hey ,if anyone else needs to find out about
    the golf swing speed challenge
try Magonsi Amazing Golf Expert (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got cool success with it.

  8. this is as good a video on the grip as ive seen on youtube probably. if youre watching this, pay attention. youre right hand on your grip controls the way your right elbow flies on your backswing… and you want to make it stronger, or roll it under, until your right elbow stays tucked in on your backswing on its own. thats when you know its right. 🙂

  9. Hi Piers and Andy, I managed to drop my handicap from 20 to 16 over 8 months and was struggling to bring it down any further. I started looking at your advice around correcting my grip and my swing. Over four weeks I have managed to drop down to 11.5. I can't afford to get coaching but your videos have been great. Thank you and keep up the good work.

  10. Appreciate Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about – Paneevelyn Swinging Clubsman (do a search on google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for revealing an effortless golf swing technique without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin at last got astronomical success with it.

  11. Focusing on "negative" coaching does not help beginners much. Try to focus on what to do, instead on what to avoid. This is the way all other sports are coached…

  12. you'd need to attack the action of the body pivot as much as you address the face/ grip issue. the proof is in the shot that Andy hit.. his body STILL stalled and flipped the face through impact. your player you analyzed will have the same issue unless you address the pivot as well..
