Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf YouTube channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.

We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.

Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.

Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

  1. I’m new but I have a 1500 budget. I don’t want to look like an asshole being new and all. Lol. But I can afford it so I was hoping it would be worth the investment? Or should I just throw a few hundred bucks at a pre packaged set??? Like a top flite set

  2. Been golfing one or two times a year for 25 years. This year I retired and took golf lessons through the VA GIVE program. I liked your video, when I played the first several years I used 2 clubs, a pitching wedge and a putter. Lol.

  3. Love the channel and watching Ashley crush her drives now! I started playing about 15 years ago while I was in the Army, had a lot of chances to play all over the country and a few places overseas, although you would figure after 15 years I would be better than I am lol. I just enjoy being out there with the wife playing! Have a great one!

  4. Started playing when I was 32 when I lived in Texas. Panhandle of Texas hard dry fairways, wind blows constantly! Trees are scarce as good golf shots,I'm pretty sure I hit 95% of them that were available. I'm 69 now and more addicted than ever. Love the videos guys!

  5. You guys rock!!! Play a few times a year! But yes I’m terrible. 1 good put. 1good chip. 1good drive. I call a good round . Thanks for the entertainment!

  6. I used to caddy at a private golf club, way back when, since then I haven't played much golf, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I played since then, to me this was a very informative video, thank you!

  7. Started playing golf in the early 90s with my grandfather. I loved playing with Him. Time passed by and now I am dusting off the rust and playing golf with my young son. He surprised me and told me he wanted to try it. I now use a taylormade burner as my driver and I love it. I enjoy watching your shows and the different golf clubs you find. The old ones are some of the best.

  8. spend $100 on some beginner lessons and $50 on some old clubs. when you can break 90 on a regular basis, get newer/better clubs and a few more lessons and you will have more success and fun. and practice, practice, practice

  9. Great video guys. I started playing golf my freshman year(1984) in high school. Recently got back in after a 12 year layoff. Now I’m retired and play about 2 to 3 days a week.
