  1. I just finished reading these golf swing secrets “kaha shocking guide” (Google it) last week before going out and putting the exercises to the test. I never thought that after playing for 3 decades, my swinging ability can still be improved. The drills have assisted with small details I had never paid much attention to.

  2. Butch Harmon: "Club head speed generates Power"… More like Power generates club head speed. Club head speed is the effect. This video is about "how golfers swing so fast", not "what happens when you swing fast". That's ok Butch, just keep charging $1000/hour.

  3. The whole key in this video is one word.  Athletic.  If you are not athletic you are not going to generate enough speed and power to pound the ball out there.  But that does not mean you can't enjoy the game.

  4. You can create speed through the golf ball without swinging hard as you can. My club head speed average is 125mph and my max output was 130mph. Being  6'1 228lbs and workout everyday does help immensely with hitting it further but another for smaller guys is creating whip at the bottom of the swing arc where if you took a video the forearms and club should be forming a L which is followed by a very fast release that should generate a lot of speed through the ball.

  5. It's actually both speed and mass, due to physics and the equation for momentum. If you have big forearms, it's just as effective as high speed. Pros usually have both, or a little extra club speed.

  6. You probly just swing hard which normally leads to bad shots, you need to generate lag and you will be able to generate high club head speed without swinging hard
