ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Alan Gregory says:

I am 70 yrs old and am a long iron player all my golfing trimester however since watching this video about hybrids I have purchased from my club Proffesional two hybrids I tried them first for a week (Marcus is very accommodating) low and behold I can stroke my hybrid from the fairway and rough most of the time (arthritis permitting) I can the ball up in the air quickly and even if I duff! It the ball still travels far better than my four iron though I sill have uses for my four iron
Cheers Danny keep up the good work look forward each week to your training even at 70 plus

joeleus says:

And don't forget you can use your hybrid to putt, drive, loft, snooker, calculate algebra and get you out of speeding tickets.

Love hybrids, but love a good long iron shot so much. Long iron shots feel like golf.

Moss Productions says:

I use long irons

nodtez says:

hybrid as much as possible, still goes wrong sometimes, but great for distance and forgiving, only been playing 2 years

peter olsen says:

Long iron , all the way.

Thisisliving Warren says:

I love my hybrid. It's by far the best club in my bag….I get great distance on my H5 better than my 3 wood. Just hit the H5 the same way you would hit an iron. O.o crap I'll have to try the chipping thing, Thanks

Kyle Millyard says:

Neither! I use high loft woods

anirit34 says:

I am long iron player

Glenn Watson says:

I have a Ping 3 Crossover. Is that considered a hybrid?

Glenn Watson says:

I don't understand the lure of hybrids. They feel like fairway woods to me and I never could depend on them.

Beverly Miller says:

A newer player. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.

Rodney Wright says:

Thanks Danny, love your videos…I'm sure a lot of people like myself have improved with your tips.
I'm still relatively new to the game again now in my middle age after a long layoff, but was brought up as a kid hitting irons.
Finding it hard to control the hybrids, but oh my lord, the advances in technology in golf clubs since I was a kid makes irons so much more easier to control.
Think I'm officially 'iron man'.

William Preece says:

Now I understand ball position, it has made my hybrids more playable. At 62 I have lost some power (Injuries) and this has helped.

gtflyer says:

5 iron is my longest iron. I carry a 23 and 19 degree hybrids. My swing speed is to slow for the long irons..sadly..

Kings Mind says:

Poor shoulder turn! Sure that first shot went right. Alligator arms

Lee Lohoefer says:

Hybrid player and as I've aged (55), have replaced 5 & 6 iron with hybrids.

Martin Mc Donald says:

Long iron player No consistency with hybrid

Tony Karosis says:

3 & 4 hybrid player…5 iron and up

John Pfistner says:

I like hitting both long irons and hybrids. It usually depends on my lie. I even putted with a hybrid (I had watched Brooks Henderson do this as some wonder why I watch a 'boring' sport like golf? If I didn't, I would not think I could use my hybrid as a putting/chipping tool.) and I has made a putt from the fringe scoring a birdie on a lagging hole. I prefer hitting a hybrid on thick, grassy rough and even took a shot from a fairway bunker with it as well as off the tee . Hybrids are very versatile and yes, I hit them like a wood or even like a 6 iron but I prefer irons on fairways and shallow cut rough. Depending the course or links I play, determines whether I keep my hybrid in the bag and occasionally switch it out with my 4 iron or 5 wood unless someone is willing to forget the 14 clubs in your bag only rule.

patrick kennedy says:

any one else notice his shoots go to the right, and not straight, if not watch again and you will see . do not listen to him……………….

Gareth Machado says:

I am comfortable with the hybrid as I have difficulty with irons
