I had a Swing Caddie 2 and it was always closest on ball speed. I really liked it.

You are the only person hitting, if on a range with 20 other golfers does it pick up shots from other golfers that may cross into its view?
I got one on eBay for $100. It was missing the remote but ordered for $20. They sent me the remote for another model but sent the right one as soon as I called them. Swing Caddy stood behind their product 100%. It uses Doppler radar and it is accurate. A reminder if you get one… carry extra batteries. The remote uses a watch battery. Look for one online like I did and save some money. Because it uses microwave technology, the lens doesn't have to be perfectly clean to use. With optical devices they do.

Had one (2) 2 years ago and both broke so sent them both back… have they sorted this out ??? was it a bad batch ?? when it worked it was great especially target golf with wedges !!
For practice I find this pretty useless since it only shows speeds and practice is usually done on range balls. Much more important with path, club face angle and attack angle imo.

Hey Clay playing the sldr now over the M1 it looked like you've been using?
Is there any use for the SC2 without going to the range? Will it read swing speed without hitting balls?
I'd love for you to have a guy out there in the fairway who can mark where your ball actually lands and use a laser rangefinder to measure the actual distance and compare that to the two machines. (Obviously a calm/non-windy day would be required).
Does this work while hitting into a net?
