Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

  1. I tried out the wilson along with i think a dozen other drivers a few days ago. I really loved it, more so than the stealth 2 plus actually. I ended up with a Callaway epic flash star but the dynapower was my runner up. The callaway is far more expensive than the Wilson but both are great beginner clubs imo.

  2. I bought the Wilson Dynapower Carbon driver and Dynapower 3/5 woods 2 months ago, and I’m so stoked with them. I hit so many different woods in the store, and the Dynapowers felt the best hands down. The simulator results proved it, too. It’s funny because Wilson wasn’t even on my radar. The best part was the set was $300-something less than the competition, which allowed me to splurge on a new putter. What can I say…the hype is real with the ‘23 Wilson woods.

  3. Is swing speed the deciding factor all which model to choose in all brands? What is the cut off for Wilso for example? What happens when a slower speed player chooses the Carbon Driver?

  4. Wilson is producing amazingly good Golf equipment…at a reasonable price. Their putter’s line for example are among the best. Their Triad golf ball are very good.

But there’s a big but……at least in Canada. JUST TRY TO FIND THEIR PRODUCTS IN ANY GOLF SHOP……nearly impossible. Why ? Their logistics are Inexistant…….why’s that ? I suspect margins for retailers ( those pedlers who are representing themselves has Pro experts to recommend a Titleist, Taylor Made equipment of this world.´

  5. I was walking down a PGA store and was pleasantly surprised when I saw these new Wilson models, I am more than happy to find Rick give such a positive review on them, these might be my new driverswoods !

  6. Love that you actually gave an unbiased opinion and didn't sugar coat or go against the product. I have a wilson older model and love it and want to try the Titanium now. Tnanks

  7. I got fitted with this driver yesterday in the carbon after hitting 7 or 8 total. I loved it. No shot was more than 20 yards off-center and good distance for me. I never got above 2900 spin. Coincidentally, I also fit best into the same 3 wood and hybrid. Price point was pretty good for a new model too. Less than $1000 USD for all 3 clubs.

  8. Consistency off the tee was the best with this one. Knowing you are gonna hit the fairways more often is better for the mind and game. Everyone wants to hit bombs but if you're missing the fairways puts more pressure on the rest of your shots to keep your score low. I would love to see you play a round with that driver including the the stats after. Well done Rick. Good on.

  9. So I honestly don’t know why everyone thinks they need a driver. According to distance I bet there’s no difference apart from the inconvenience with a driver. Is it actually actual not worth than the inconvenience of it. The world could flip, but I’d never have a. Driver given me??? £300, never in a month of Sundays would i buy a driver.

  10. Look love. Before many, and I do mean years from playing golf. After so many, many years of surgery. I’ve never, ever had a driver. I got my handicap too 8, just
Using a 3 wood. It’s been with me for years, it a Big Bertha copy. ❤❤❤❤❤

  11. I demoed the carbon version and was getting amazing launch and spin numbers. It was perfect in almost every way but there as one big problem. It's now selling for $499 here in the US! At $399, as described in this video, it was a no brainer but it seems like Wilson jumped on the inflation/creepflation bandwagon and decided to sell it for the oh so popular price of $499. At that price point it's in the same category as pretty much every other driver out there. I guess I'll just wait a couple of months when the retailers have to move them out and I'll snag it for a discounted price. Luckily, most people up here in the Northeast don't seem to care for Wilson so that benefits guys like me.

  12. Gorgeous looking drivers. To be fair I haven't played anything but Wilson gear for over a decade now, after my Cleveland CG1 Irons got nicked. Wilson is comfortably the best bang for the buck in golf today.
