Headcover review, I have to love it. It's SOOO important to me that the head cover matches my bag, damn the performance I want to look good rolling up to the clubhouse lol. Seriously I love my Ping 425, I'll look at the 430 once it's aged out a bit ( and the price drops some) thanks for the review, I alway apprciate your comments, Rick.
The G430 is NOT a good looking club. If you hot melt the G425 the sound changes/gets better and I think it would be what you wanted it to be. i know it made mine stay in my bag when it was on the way out just because of sound.
I've bought, traded and owned about every driver on the market over the years…and I always find ping drivers in my bag. They've been the best on the market for a long time in my opinion
I have the old Ping G25 and if you watch Rick Shiels review it, the figures are very similar to the above. The carry of the Ping G25 was 279yds i.e actually 2 yds further than the newer models !!
I throw out head covers when I buy a new club. What is their purpose? Keep club heads warm? Silly stuff

Ping G430 gives you lots of confidence and you gain confidence your swing speed and distance goes up
? £500 for a golf club? My first 5 cars didn’t cost that.
Even the video is from 5 months ago, I just want to state, that this „Weapon“ changed a lot in my Golf-Game. I finally decided to give up on my Taylormade SIM MAX, beeing soo frustrated from slicing, and lack of accuracy.
For me the T-Shot at every hole is so crucial in respect to the next shots, due to confidence.
Using the g430 Max with a stiff shaft (clubheadspeed at an average of 96) got me rid of 98% of my Slices. Distance is phenomenal for my doings( min. 246 yrds max. 300 yrds).
Last 6 rounds I dropped HCP from 34,6 to around 27, while getting a big gain in enjoying Golf again!
Absolutely agree about the 430Max. On course it looks like you're hitting a great shot, only to find that it's fallen short of normal landmarks, bunkers and regular approach positions on my home course. It def spins too much and for fast swingers its likely to not be a great fit for them.
Agreed on colors, loved the simple theme of the G425.

Could you explain loft angle? If you get a club that isn’t adjustable, what do you choose? 9 , 10.5, higher?? I don’t love my current driver, way to inconsistent. Which I know is me, but still.

Hi Rick for me everything about this driver is OK EXCEPT for me those ridges on top, and shaft is too flexible near head . Unlike you I have a 80 mph swing so 200 yds they say is all I should hit why.
Driver is a very personal choice . There is no such thing as " the best driver".
just an fyi, the color scheme is a nod to the rapture driver.

I've used the G425 max for the past 2 years and wasn't planning on upgrading but I won a G430 max so it's nice to see similar numbers with improved sound. That'll do me for free. Wouldn't have bought it though.
