  1. I currently game the TM SIM and hit it reasonably well. Even though I was fit for it the shafts options for a player of my swing speed 120+ were limited at the shop were I was fitted. Yesterday I had the opportunity to hit the New TSI3 with premium x-flex shafts and my dispersion was greatly improved. My question is should I simply sell my SIM and order TSI3 with the Tensei white AV Raw 75 x flex (shaft that performed the best for me) or try this premium shaft in the SIM head? Thanks for any feedback.

  2. Good to see titleist becoming more competitive with there woods. Usually they had a terrific iron, wedge and putter game along with the ball but good to see the woods come into play.

  3. Was at Club Champion testing out some iron shafts today and was able to hit the new TSi3. My impressions compared to my TS3: Right off the bat I got higher ball speed and efficiency numbers. I got 2 mph right away. I'd say the feel of both is the same but the TSi3 does have a slightly lower sound to it. I wouldn't say muted like SIM but a slightly quieter TS3. I was seeing more carry distance, around 5 yards. Smash factor went from 1.47 to 1.50 with no extra changes. For reference my swing speed is 107 and I was using Ventus Blue Velocore 6X. All other factors of Trackman were about the same.

I'd say the biggest stand out difference is the looks at address of the TSi3. It really looks incredible compared to the TS3. I may purchase it just on the looks alone.

  4. Would be interesting to see you lower the loft a smidge on the TS3. In theory that should produce similar ball flight and up the ball speed a bit. So maybe they’re actually as powerful?!?

  5. Hey team, a little late to the party on this one but a quick question. given that the set ups on these two drivers are basically identical the only real difference being .5degrees in the loft. how much of a difference would you expect to see from that .5 degrees? it would appear from the testing (strike point aside which clearly makes a difference) that the .5 degrees would affect the launch and spin characteristics for sure and given the performance of the two drivers is sooooo close could the loft being matched up bring them even closer together?
